GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
You are a highly organized professional working closely with the Community Partnerships and Initiative team on the planning and execution of outreach and engagement efforts, including artist residencies. You support all aspects of the Museum's artist residency programs and work with the Managing Educator to ensure overall program quality.You are a key member of the Community Partnerships and Initiatives team and contribute to the successful deliver of community tours, public talks, offsite engagements, and festivals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Under the guidance of the Managing Educator for Community Partnerships and Initiatives, organize and manage workflow for artist residency programs and support overall administrative processes for the department.
Serve as a liaison between artists-in-residence and internal stakeholders, assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, tracking data, and ensuring information is disseminated in a timely manner.
Coordinate program logistics including travel and accommodations, ordering supplies, submitting space reservations, and building online event listings and registrations.
Submit requisitions, process invoices and agreements, and maintain accurate and complete records.
Facilitate the seamless delivery of projects through accurate data entry, adherence to project schedules, meeting coordination, and effective communication.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments, including Special Events, Procurement, Shipping and Receiving, Design, and Technology Services.
Track program attendance and expenses, compile participant intake information, and organize pre and post program assessments.
Organize studio and site visits and attend offsite meetings.
Represent the Museum at fairs, festivals, and community events.
Support special projects and cross-institutional initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in art history, museum education, or other related field, or equivalent experience
2-3 years of administrative experience in a museum or cultural organization
Excellent intercultural and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of New York City's arts and cultural landscape
Experience working with contemporary artists
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and working independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound data-driven decisions
Budget management and analytical skills
Ability to work weekend and/or evening hours to align with program offerings
Full command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of Artifax, Tessitura, Umbraco, or other similar systems, a plus
COMPENSATION RANGE:
Pay Range: $33.00 - $34.00 / Hourly
