JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Provider Support Assistanttoperform administrative responsibilities in support of one or more physician(s) and/or advanced provider(s).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer and manage phone calls effectively through the division's ACD system while utilizing systems to perform tasks such as Maestro Care, Right Fax and Solarity.
- Route patient messages to appropriate recipient(s) via inbasket and follow up to ensure task have been completed.
- Coordinate studies only clinical appointments within the department as well as outside of the department accurately and timely.
- Manage patient referrals and scheduling based upon urgency of diagnosis.
- Manage physicians calendar including, but not limited to arranging meetings and travel arrangements.
- Perform administrative tasks that include, but are not limited to typing work/school letters, letters of recommendation and patient form completion.
- Process physician reimbursements.
- Track and update physician licenses and memberships.
- Attend division meetings as needed.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education Required.
One year experience of clerical or general office support.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
