Recovery Coach Supervisor

The primary responsibilities for the Recovery Coach Supervisor are to provide supervisory oversight for approximately 5 peer staff. Able to support, train and develop peers so that they are well equipped to provide quality, ethical care to those they serve. Provides peer support for a caseload of approximately 10 individuals. Recovery Coaches (RC) are individuals currently in recovery who have lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders and have been trained to help their peers with a similar experience to gain hope, explore their own recovery pathway, and achieve life goals.
The Recovery Coach Supervisor will be a part of a larger team including recovery coaches and case managers, but will also be an active interdisciplinary member of the Outpatient Center’s track of specialty clinicians, supervisors, and prescribers who serve people with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The Recovery Coach Supervisor will provide supervision, guidance, and education to staff persons and to persons engaged in services but may also utilize their own recovery experience and knowledge with the entire treatment team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Salary: $60,000

Required Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Lived experience of recovery in the context of substance use and/or and mental health
- Experience in productivity-driven environment and ability to work in a team
- Ability to articulate wellness/recovery values and principles required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Recovery Coach Certification (CARC) and Recovery Coach supervisor qualified (BSAS trained) strongly preferred.
- One year management/supervisory experience in a similar setting strongly preferred. Experience managing in productivity-driven programs preferred.
- Two years recovery coach experience in a multi-disciplinary behavioral health/substance use treatment setting.
