The Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Supervisor provides leadership for staff and accountability for assigned operations. In conjunction with the nursing leadership works to improve the quality of patient care, strengthen the financial performance of the department, and to improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Serves as a role model and provides clinical expertise to the department staff.Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.

Required Experience

Required:

• Current California RN license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 2 Years Staff Nurse Acute care clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• LA County Fire Card within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• 2 Years leadership/management experience
• National board certification
• Master's degree in nursing
