Rehab Preauthorization Specialist - Rehab Services

Summary: The Preauthorization Specialist initiates requests for authorization of patient services, verifies benefits, data entersocuments authorizations, and communicates status of authorizations to staff. Performs clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology preferred. 2-3 years
