As the Retail Inventory Manager, Accessories & Apparel, you will play a critical role in successfully managing accessories and apparel assortments in company stores. You will allocate vendor assortments to ensure proper inventory levels to support our sales targets. You will be the main purchasing point of contact for select stores and will provide store feedback to the buying team and other departments. Assist the local markets with regional events as well as participate in quarterly market travel to support company stores. You will collaborate closely with Retails Ops, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, and Store Management.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately implement Vendor allocations of merchandise to stores to ensure accurate inventory levels, in support of store inventory and sales targets.
  • Adjust allocations prior to auto-ARP run based on issues / opportunities highlighted in analysis
  • Manage store in stocks, Distribution Center (DC) stockouts, and non-model inventory, escalating issues to Buying / Retail Inv Manager as needed
  • Manage store merchandise delivery, transfers, RTVs and RAs to ensure efficient store inventory levels
  • Review upcoming schedule for inbound with Operations and Buying for inbound / outbound forecast and DC performance
  • Review Vendor to Store inventory needs, summarize analysis for weekly meeting with Buying
  • Utilize model targets to help manage product lifecycle appropriately based on seasonality
  • Execute allocations for promotions and expos/events; analyze performance and share results with team
  • Execute ad hoc Purchase Order submission to vendor, with alignment from Buying & Sr. Retail Inventory Management
  • Communicate regularly with stores, district managers and Operating Partners to identify opportunities and share information cross-functionally
  • Review upcoming launches, assortment changes, out of stock issues, capacity issues, store highlights, etc. weekly with Buying and Stores
  • Review vendor store sales and region store performance in weekly Inventory Sync, including productivity analysis, end of life monitoring, instock %s, WOS, etc.
  • Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication
  • Support Buying with seasonal analysis of size selling ratios
  • Participate in quarterly market / store travel

Additional Requirements:  Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs.) carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling.  The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, etc.  The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements.  The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands, wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer. This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
