Adjunct Faculty School of Nursing
The Westminster College School of Nursing is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach an Introductory Microbiology course for pre-nursing students for spring session beginning Monday, January 13, 2025, for in person didactic and lab.
There is also availability to teach the Introductory Microbiology course for summer instruction for an asynchronous online didactic and lab session for a 15-week course beginning June 2, 2025.
The course, syllabi, and lessons for bot formats are established. Topics covered include cellular structure, microbes and antimicrobial agents, genetics, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and parasites. This course includes lab time for the student to visualize and apply learned material. A minimum of a bachelors degree in biology or microbiology and teaching experience required.
