Senior Director, Media (US)

With offices in the US (Boston, Providence) and UK (London), we're scaling our US media team and looking for a Senior Director, Media (US) to lead client success, team development, and media strategy-without the red tape of traditional agencies.

What You'll Do
Lead Client Strategy & Media Planning
- Own media strategy and execution for 2-3 B2B client accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Own key client relationships, and growth opportunity within those accounts.
- Oversee planning and activation across programmatic, search, social, direct buys, and emerging media channels.
- Work closely with analytics and ad operations teams to drive performance insights and continuous optimization.
- Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs, ensuring media investments drive business impact.
Build & Manage a High-Performing Team
- Lead and mentor a growing team of media specialists, ensuring strong execution across campaigns.
- Work with leadership to hire, train, and develop the US media team as our agency expands.
- Oversee project-based contractors, leveraging our gravitational resourcing model for efficiency and expertise.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that aligns with our values of transparency and inclusivity.
Business Growth & Strategic Collaboration
- Support new business efforts, contributing to pitches, proposals, and media POVs.
- Collaborate with global leadership on refining our media approach and evolving service offerings.
- Stay ahead of B2B media trends and innovations, ensuring clients get best-in-class strategies and be a thought leader to our clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to internal thought leadership content creation and marketing efforts.
What You Bring
- 10-12+ years in media/ad agencies, with a focus on B2B marketing.
- Strong expertise across programmatic, paid social, SEM, and direct buys.
- Experience leading client strategy, media execution, and performance optimization.
- A track record of mentoring and managing teams, with a passion for developing talent.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset, excited to work closely with leadership on business growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
