Our client is looking for a Manager, Project Management to lead a team of multi-functional project managers, responsible for tracking projects from input to delivery - maintaining alignment with stakeholders on direction, deliverables and deadlines. Additionally, this role will have a small number of their own projects to manage, hands on.
The ideal candidate will have extensive Workfront knowledge, experience refining workflow processes and expertise utilizing data to drive resourcing decisions. They can balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail, have strong people skills, and lead through influence to build trust with stakeholders as a champion of project management. This role will be a pivotal addition to our Operations team, working closely with clients and the entire Marketing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and motivate team members to a high level of performance and accountability in Delta's high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Build strong relationships across areas of marketing and the Delta organization to ensure successful alignment of roadmaps and collaboration on deliverables and timelines.
- Navigate issues with a solutions-oriented mindset, escalating concerns and making informed recommendations to stakeholders and leadership as needed
- Act as one of the primary administrators of Workfront, Delta's project management/workflow tool, including managing new requests/briefs, overseeing the assignment and tracking of projects from input to delivery, and managing reports and dashboards.
- Develop and communicate status updates highlighting potential issues including at-risk deadlines, scheduling, resources, costs, etc.
- Intaking requests within project management tool, Workfront for 15-20 owned projects
- Maintaining task lists, due dates and project statuses within Workfront
- Assisting in making project assignments amongst the Creative and Channel Enablement teams as needed
- Co-lead a weekly resource-management call between Operations and Channel Enablement leads in partnership with others
REQUIRED:
- 5-8+ years of project management experience at an agency or in-house team. Additional email and audience development project management experience a plus.
- Experience with project/client management in a modern software environment via multiple scheduling systems, including Workfront.
- People-management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other email software is a plus.
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PC skills required
- PMP Certification preferred
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional projects from concept to completion with multiple clients across different platforms and media formats.
- Strong project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.
- A structured, organized, reliable and highly detail-oriented person with a quality and results-oriented approach
- Collaborative team player who excels at building relationships
- Managing and navigating complex organizational structures and work well with executives at all levels
This is a 40 hour a week, HYBRID, role that requires being on site 2-3 days a week.
