SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Wallet team, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with technical leaders to build a secure crypto platform utilizing modern software development practices.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Batchelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
6+ years' experience in a Software engineering
Experience building resilient services in Java.
Proficiency in Java 17 & above.
Hands-onexperience in developing web applications utilizing Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE).
An understanding of microservice architecture and twelve factor app patterns
Strong understanding of REST API implementation, including Enterprise Authentication and Authorizationmodels
Extensive experience with Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Transaction Management
Proficient in databases and SQL and has proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
Unit and integration test automation using Junit.
Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
Experience with blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, and others.
Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions.
Possess ability to deliverscalable, resilient, and secure technical solutions and practice industry standards.
Extensive experience in designing, developing, and configuring applicationsthat meet business requirements, with a focustowards maintaining high performance,quality,and security standards.
Experience in providing accurate work estimates and ensuring code quality through rigorous analysis andautomatedtesting methodologies.
Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus.
Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.
Knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Aurora Postgres Database is preferred.
Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as SNS and SQS is a plus.

Fidelity Digital Assets , a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
