Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our team. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment while supporting proposals/programs with multiple contract types. They will become a member of the multi-disciplinary team to perform the coordination, negotiation, and management of highly complex proposals and subcontracts under minimal supervision. The position requires a comprehensive knowledge of business agreements, government, and commercial contracting methods, including policies, procedures, and Federal regulations, in order to provide appropriate guidance and support. Prepares/reviews proposals, develops evaluation criteria, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares, awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Ability to work independently, as well as manage cross-functional program teams on all subcontract-related issues; multi-tasking is crucial for success. Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties. Exhibit best practice work habits and collaborate with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence. Deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships. It is required that the successful candidate resides in the Washington, DC, area. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years minimum of industry experience with Federal Government Contracting and Subcontracting administration
- Experience supporting DoD programs
- Experience managing diverse subcontractors, both large and small businesses
- Experience awarding/managing diverse Subcontract Types
- Proficient with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and defense contracting
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point
- Excellent Organization and follow through skills
- Costpoint Experience
- Willingness and desire for continuous improvement
- Excellent time management/organizational skills.
- Ability to find win-win solutions; a "make it happen" attitude.
- Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements
- Salesforce & DocuSign experience is a plus.
