The Senior Systems Engineer–Control & Telemetry will play a critical technical leadership role in delivering high quality Computed Tomography (CT) control subsystems and ensure architectural alignment, meets user/business requirements, as well as developing the architecture of telemetry and utilization of the collected data by adopting state-of-the-art big-data analytics.
Your role:
- Manage requirements, traceability and interfaces of Computed Tomography (CT) Acquisition Control, up to the product level.
- Will Architect CT devices telemetry, perform data mining/analysis, and drive the implementation of the Digital Twin concept for a new platform for CT systems, including hands-on work.
- Responsible for driving quality through rigorous test design, based on operation use profiles and statistical data analysis.
- Will drive innovation on big data management, including – compression, storage, mining and transport over network barriers.
- Will champion the alignment of the product design with the system architecture.
- Responsible for ownership of the CT Acquisition Control Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) model.
- Reporting to the Senior Manager-Systems Controls, Advanced Development CT/AMI, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and specialists throughout the CT/AMI organization.
- This Hybrid (3 days on site/2 days remote), Orange, OH based role, may require travel 1-2X per year.
- Work in a global environment with 10-20% online meetings outside of regular working hours.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Systems Engineering for highly regulated, complex systems, including architectural definitions. Detailed experience in FDA regulated Capital Imaging Systems/Controls (CT, Advanced Molecular Imaging (AMI), MRI, X-Ray) highly desired.
- You have a Strong statistical background.
- You’re experienced with machine learning, data mining, crunching, and analysis.
- You’re experienced in programming for verification automation.
- You’re experienced in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), with CAMEO/Catia Magic experience highly desired.
- You are self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a team environment.
- You’re able to champion change and overcome barriers.
- You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (REQUIRED) in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Sciences, Engineering Technology or similar disciplines.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
