Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Software Programming Programmer in King of Prussia, PA, Herndon, VA, King of Prussia, PA, Herndon, VA.

In this role you will do the following: Support the full life cycle development of software solutions and support investigation and fixing of software discrepancies and defects.

The Successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: strong skills in use of Python, C/C++, IDL, CREO, and/or Matlab; familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum master and use of Jira boards; and completing the coding and unit level testing.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Computer Science /
Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber
Security or related discipline or technical
training, or related work experience.
Completed coursework towards a related
degree may be considered.
* Familiar with software development environments and languages (C, C++, JAVA)
* Must be a US Citizen; This position is located
at a facility that requires special access.
* Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Matlab

- Database experience - SQL/NoSQL

- Experience with Linux

- Proficient with Microsoft Office.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Utilizing Agile software methodologies and processes.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
