Responsibilities

Cross Product Integration Enablement (CPIE) is a horizontal platform team in Agency, Marketing and Contact Centers in Enterprise Technology. ​

CPIE is a centralized, horizontal platform product team with highly skilled and experienced resources who apply the performance engineering discipline that leverages products, practices, efforts, people, and processes to minimize risks to production by load testing of the applications. CPIE partners closely with other AMCC Platform Engineering teams, DevOps and Salesforce Platform Admin and Deployment.

The CPIE team has consistently worked towards becoming a Performance Center of Excellence, to achieve maximum value of performance engineering. This Center of Excellence (CoE) model as a practical way to consistently and continuously improve IT operations. In the CoE model, the QA infrastructure, processes, resources and best practices are consolidated and centralized.

As a Performance CoE, CPIE helps the product suites/teams optimize their applications to meet the users’ expectations. It also provides visibility into standardized metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Possesses an understanding of how technology solutions meet the business outcomes and offers a range of solutions for business partners.
  • Provides guidance to engineering and product teams related to designs to better enable a resilient design and early enablement of NFRs.
  • Resolves problems that result in a decreased time to market; improves quality, enhances flexibility, and embraces the solution provider mindset.
  • Develops solutions on variety of platforms according to business requirements.
  • Designs, develops, tests, executes, and maintains multiple performance test suites.
  • Develops and maintains regression test suite.
  • Completes required coding/scripting to satisfy the defined test criteria and deliver desired outcome.
  • Considers risks, mitigations, performance, user experience when building test scenarios.
  • Conducts regression testing and evaluates results for Salesforce Tri-Annual Releases.
  • Completes required documentation to capture testing details and data gathers to communicate information to analysis team.
  • Evaluates how to apply emerging technology solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness, expectation of continuous innovation.
  • Develops automated testing approaches as appropriate.

Qualifications

Must have skills:

  • OpenText LoadRunner, JMeter, GitLab, SOAP UI, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, HttpWatch Professional, Chrome/Edge dev tools and AWS CloudWatch
  • Developing custom scripts(not just record and playback) using C# and Java. Linux commands respective to performance monitoring and diagnosis
  • Query language (DB2 SQL, Salesforce SOQL, PostgresSQL) for data mining and data creation
  • Scripting for validating Salesforce and AWS applications
  • Conducting Load Test, Stress Test, Endurance based on the scope of business requirements
  • Generating detailed Performance test reports
  • Ability to specify data collection methods with thresholds to analyze complex results
  • Expertise with core Performance Engineering concepts like JVM memory Management, Thread analysis, heap analysis and connection pool metrics
  • AWS for workload profile and design
  • Performance diagnostics & analysis, capacity planning, and architecting efficient workflows
  • Communication of performance analysis reports to higher management along with explaining the testing process and design guidelines
  • Stakeholders to coordinate performance test requirements and deliver test results and recommendations
  • Facilitation and driving root cause analysis and identification of availability impacts to the enterprise for trending purposes
  • Engaging development and support teams to assist with recovery activities
  • Providing postmortem documentation to ensure root cause and preventative actions are identified

HYBRID: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Starting Salary Ranges based on experience, skillset and geographic location:

$90,600 - $142,000

Plus potential yearly incentive pay: up to 18% of base salary
