Mission Systems Category Management Team is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, reporting to the Category Manager. This position is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers.
This role is hybrid based out of Linthicum, MD.
What You'll get to do:

• Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates and contract dates
• Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, expediting
• Complete quarterly supplier assessments (SAMS) and run Supplier Business Reviews (SBR's)
• Analyze lead times and identifies critical path procurements
• Report status to affected programs
• Develop relationships with suppliers' personnel for quick response
Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field.
• US Citizenship
Preferred qualifications for Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

• Experience with team collaboration
• Proficient in Microsoft applications

Salary Range: $70,600 - $105,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
