Description
To perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of vaccines. - Perform filling and support production activities
- Operate relevant department equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete all associated documentation in compliance with requirements
- Conduct Documentation Review
- Demonstrate sound aseptic technique and serve as a trainer and mentor to other technicians
- Demonstrate mechanical competency and interface with the maintenance department for resolving equipment issues
- Perform inventory transactions
- Review and close batch tickets
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators to strive for improved performance
- Provide leadership to teammates, supporting the area supervisor
- Communicate process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor.
- Escalate events and concerns to supervisor
- Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the company Values in all work related activities
- In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope
Requirements
- B.S. degree from an accredited institution plus two (2) years of relevant experience; or High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of related experience
- B.S. Biology or related field from an accredited institution, and three (3) years related experience preferred
- Experience in Pharma/Bio cGMP preferred
- Basic computer skills - Excel, Word
- Demonstrated team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong mechanical skills, experience operating automated equipment, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- cGMP manufacturing knowledge
- Aseptic filling knowledge
- Product lifecycle knowledge and risks
