BJH is hiring for a Unit Secretary for the Cardiothor Step Down unit. We are looking for candidates with an administrative background.

Night Shift:

Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:00 a.m.
Weekends: every 3rd
Holiday: rotating schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team.

Responsibilities

Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.

Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.

Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
