Full Job Description
Our Automotive client is seeking a UX Producer! The UX Producer plays a critical role in keeping the User Experience Design & Research team functioning at a high level. It is an organized, strategic, positive team orchestrator who ensures UX initiatives are conducted effectively and efficiently. It includes improving team communication, collaboration, and ability to move past roadblocks. This role requires a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to keep teams on track and deliver on goals.
Paid travel time expected on a quarterly basis to meet with team in Torrance. You must be able to meet these requirements!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage the UX workflow and help to improve ways of working
Support UX team objectives.
Partner with UX teams to evaluate scope and level of effort to determine the appropriate structure and cadence.
Set and enforce timelines, milestones, and schedules.
Maintain a backlog of UX demand.
Help plan and track the scope of UX initiatives.
Identify and remove workflow bottlenecks and barriers.
Identify and propose process improvements.
Shephard work through design reviews and approvals.
Help to triage and manage design feedback.
Help to communicate program and team status.
Increase UX efficiency.
Conduct retrospectives.
Strengthen relationships and partnerships within UX and beyond
Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Drive alignment and collaboration and harmonize the work across UX and cross-functional teams.
Facilitate open communication and knowledge sharing across the team and stakeholders.
Help form and implement rituals to improve teamwork.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Experience working within UX.
Detail-oriented and highly perceptive.
Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to work through ambiguity and determine a clear direction.
Experience working in agile methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Expertise in project management.
NICE TO HAVES:
Understanding of design thinking methodologies.
Experience as a UX designer.
Experience as a program manager for large initiatives.
Certifications in project/program management.
Agile certifications.
