Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Crisis Therapist to join their Behavioral Health team!

Crisis Therapist responsibilities are to engage and respond to crisis intervention; facilitate access for mental health treatment at Adapt Integrated Health Care; provide therapeutic interventions including informed consent, advocacy, and integrated care; assist with access to community resources; facilitate development and retention of natural and community supports; provide appropriate individual, group, and community psycho-education; actively work to reduce stigma, barriers, and to build a community foundation for success. Provide consultation, coordination and collaboration with community partners and providers, Discharge Summary and continuity of care through transfer and referral. Crisis therapist may have assignments to specialized crisis populations (i.e. ACT, EASA, PSRB, .370, Jail Diversion, etc.).
PrimaryResponsibilities:
- Provides Treatment Services through assessments and evaluations, initial assessments of walk-in clients, hospital discharges and scheduled appointments, case management, individual and group treatment and prescription of outpatient treatment services.
- Whenever possible the QMHP will collaborate with clientele and in consultation with team; completes Safety and Recovery Plans for those individuals that are priority one, those at risk, or for those having ahistory that indicates that a Safety and Recovery Plan would be of benefit. Clientele is both adult and youth and family.
- Maintains and completes required records, reports, and documentation as required by departmental policy and state law; provides documentation and written communications.
- Participates in professional development through individual and group supervision, unit and agency staff meetings and workshops. Develops, modifies, and/or obtains training programs and materials in consultation with supervisor and program manager. Promotes peer professional development by sharing training materials and/or training others in successful interventions.
- Will be required to achieve productivity standards as set forth and outlined by your manager.
- Maintain compliance with regard to state, federal and Adapt Integrated Health Care guidelines including but not limited to accurate and timely documentation.
- Performs unique duties, as assigned by Program Manager or Supervisor.
- Provides oversight to and clinical direction to crisis QMHA’s.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field with experience in a mental health setting.
- Licensed providers preferred.
- Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form. This pertains to both communications with clients, coworkers, and community partners as well as documentation.
- Knowledge of psychological theory as well as principles and practices of mental health treatment, especially those pertaining to crisis intervention.
- Strong planning and time management skills, including being flexible and adaptive.
