This person will work with daily sales prediction machine learning model (Python) to analyze competitive incentive positioning. Other tools include SQL and Tableau/Power BI. Month-end reporting, dashboards and metrics presentations are created for executives and VPs in sales, finance, and marketing.

Requirements include: 

  • 5 +years of experience using data to solve problems, answer questions, and create visualizations
  • 5 +years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture
  • 5 +years of experience in Big Data technologies in Hadoop/Hive/Spark platform using Python/Scala
  • 5+ years working in the automotive industry
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or other STEM fields

Basic qualifications
Working knowledge of R, Python, or other analytical programming language
Ability to query large data sets using SQL or Spark; experience with cloud-based environments preferred
2 +years of experience with Geospatial data analytics
Experience using Data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
Working knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression, time series forecasting, clustering, optimization, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate the business benefits of analytics
Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $130-140K per year. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include: https://aquent.com/talent/talent-benefits
