We're currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement!Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Why Medical Telemetry?

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

*Resident Physician designated Teaching Unit

*ED door to door admissions

*Highly engaged team

*Supportive management team

*Robust Unit Based Council

*Flexible scheduling

*Emphasis on work/life balance

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:

*Sepsis

*Chest Pain

*Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms

*Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs

*Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.

*Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance

*Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance

*Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias

*Patients with GI abnormalities

*Trach care, CBI, IV Therapy

Qualifications

Grad of an Accredited Program
Specialized field of study should be nursing.
A current and valid nursing license.
Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
