Position Responsibilities:
- The Accounts Payable Specialist performs root cause analysis and presents solutions to management to resolve and prevent issues from reoccurring
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will analyze assigned general ledger accounts and prepare analysis of vendor statements and ensure payments are up to date
- You will assist in preparing and delivering training sessions for associates and other departments, while also effectively communicating financial practices and bookkeeping procedures to employees, various levels of management, and suppliers
- You will create procedural documents for all job responsibilities and leads information gathering project for support documentations requests for tax audits
- You will prepare analysis of vendor statements, reconcile payment application, and ensure payments are up to date
- You will perform three-way match for payment of purchase order invoices and process payment requests for non-purchase order expense invoices
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with and 0 to 1 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and 4 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
