Tiffany & Co. is seeking an analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit and self-starting approach, strong analytical skills and passion for jewelry to join our Global Category Management Jewelry team. Primary functions include sales analysis and reporting, competitive research, supporting new product development and analyzing pricing to maximize profitability. In addition, you will support sample inventory management and meetings and presentation needs.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting
Maintain and distribute weekly/monthly sales dashboards, product plans, and competitive landscape reporting per the merchandising schedule and as needed.
Aid and develop analytical models to support projects business needs.
Competitive Research
Conduct regular competitive market research on product offering, pricing and positioning.
Create reports on competitive research findings
Report new competitor launches and initiatives as they occur.
New Product
Create and maintain product plans and systems throughout various stages of development, ensuring accuracy of item detail.
Ensure critical SKU level details within category architectures are systematically maintained and project milestones are met on a timely basis.
Research product offerings to aid the initiation of new product development to ensure the product strategy remains robust and competitive.
Analyze classification, price point and sales trends to inform decisions on new product
Pricing
Aid with execution and implementation of margin reviews and pricing strategies to ensure target requirements are met for the formal price change process.
Conduct analysis and gather comparable product information to inform retail, cost and margin targets as well as final retails for new products.
Model pricing scenarios for optimization, validating pricing based on sales volume and margin drivers to inform decisions.
Additional Responsibilities
Respond to branch or internal partner inquiries and offer appropriate suggestions in a timely manner.
Aid with sample management in conjunction with Inventory Control team.
Prepare product category reviews and conference meeting materials as well as assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed to respond to business needs.
Respond to ad-hoc pricing needs

Prior Project Management/Product Development experience, preferably in a luxury branded product
Preferred Qualifications
Overall industry knowledge for product category
Overall product development manufacturing process knowledge
Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plus
VIE Program Requirements:
Ages 18 - 28
French or European Union citizen
Be available to work in New York, NY for the entire 18-month program
Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°)
Available to devote yourself full time to your assignment
The salary for this position is € 5072.76 per month
