Responsibilities*

  • Conduct comprehensive comparative analysis of four major simulation environments
  • Utilize previously collected experimental data from Cassie and validate simulation results
  • Investigate and formalize various methods for estimating angular velocity from encoder measurements
  • Algorithm development for Bipedal Locomotion
  • Lead efforts to publish research findings in top-tier robotics and automation journals

Required Qualifications*

  • PhD in Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • 1-3 years experience performing experiments on robots to validate theoretical ideas 
  • 1-3 years experience conducting out reach 
  • 1-3 years experience programming

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

This is a term-limited position through October 15, 2025 with possible renewal based on funding extension.
