Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2024 Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® and a 2018-2024 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, has an opportunity for a Service Desk Specialist that that works as a part of a service desk team responsible for the analysis and resolution of employee requests.
More specifically, as a Service Desk Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Level 1 incident management - The first point of contact and troubleshooting for all employee software, technology, and network connectivity. This includes capturing and documenting the incident in an IT Service Management application.
- Support escalation - provide exceptional customer service while responding to new customer incidents and requests, tracking all information in a ticketing system, responding to service level agreements, escalations, and working to follow all service desk processes for incidents, requests, and other areas.
- Work with management to provide service improvement of our service desk processes and knowledge base.
- Asset management of IT-related inventory.
- Onboarding and offboarding users.

- The compensation range for this position is $53,000 - $59,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Basic technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekend on-call schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience configuring and setting up devices and computers.
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
